The health benefits of a coffee a day

It was not long ago that some people thought that coffee might be bad for your health. But contrary to these beliefs, recent studies by Harvard University School of Public Health and American Heart Association have found many health benefits to drinking several cups of coffee a day.

Studies have shown that drinking coffee may protect against Parkinson's disease, type 2 diabetes and liver disease, including liver cancer. It also appears to improve cognitive function and decrease the risk of depression. Even more reason to enjoy another cup of delicious Coffex coffee.
Here are some of the benefits to enjoying many of the Coffex coffee blends:

Reduced risk of colon cancer:
Drinking four or more cups of coffee per day could lower your risk of colon cancer by 15 percent.

Reduced risk of Parkinson's disease:
Drinking two to three cups a day could reduce your risk of developing Parkinson's by a quarter.

Lowers risk of depression:
Having at least four cups a day may lower your risk of depression by 20 percent.
Lowers risk of ovarian cancer:
Drinking three cups a day may reduce your risk of ovarian cancer by 20 percent.

Lowers risk of liver cancer:
Three cups a day may cut your risk of liver cancer in half.

Lower risk of skin cancers:
Drinking six cups a day has been shown to lower the risk of skin cancer by 31 percent.

Wards off Alzheimer's:
Researchers discovered that participants who drank three to five cups of coffee per day had about a 65% decreased chance of developing Alzheimer's disease or dementia later on in life.

Cardiovascular Protection:
According to a Japanese study of more than 76,000 participants, men consuming one to two cups of coffee daily reduced their risk of dying from a cardiovascular disease by as much as 38%.

Diabetes Defence:
Harvard researchers discovered that long-term coffee drinkers had a significantly reduced risk of developing type-2 diabetes and statistics indicated the risk decreased the more they drank. Just remember to limit your sugar!
